Ojos Claudina“As they left Jericho, a large crowd followed them.A then two blind men who were seated at the side of the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by they started to shout: ‘Lord, have pity on us, Son of David!”’. And the crowd scolded them and told them to keep quiet, but they only shouted the louder, ‘Lord, have pity on us, Son of David!’ Then Jesus stopped, called them over and said, ‘What do you want me to do for you? ’ ‘They said to him, ‘Lord, let us have our sight back’.  Jesus felt pity for them and touched their eyes and at once their sight returned and they followed him” Mt 20, 32-34.

The evangelical account of Matthew accompanied our canonical visitation to the Province of Argentina from the beginning to the end.

Sister Monica Joseph, RJM, Superior General, and Sister Alejandra Diaz, RJM, Councilor for America, visited Argentina and Uruguay from July 15 to August 31, 2015.

During those days we were able to “taste and see” the life of the Province.  We have enjoyed each encounter with the sisters, each interview, the community moments and moments sharing on the mission.

At present there are:

9 Communities

42 Sisters of perpetual vows

9 Sisters of temporary vows

1 Novice. The novice is in the Latin American and Caribbean Novitiate, that recently has been transferred to Mexico, D.F.

The Provincial Conference was held on the 29th and 30th of August 2015, in the House for Retreats in Bella Vista, Buenos Aires, in which 46 Sisters were present.
